The Carbon Trust


Redfield assisted the Carbon Trust with developing its strategy for funding support for renewables and with identifying business models for supporting further development of the sector.  This work was published by the Carbon Trust as "Building Options for UK Renewable Energy".


The Engineering Business


Redfield Consulting Limited helped the Engineering Business develop a commercial strategy for its "Stingray" tidal stream renewable power generation technology and with economic assessment of the "Frond" wave renewable power generation technology.


The European Marine Energy Centre


John Aldersey-Williams, Redfield's Principal, was a Director of the European Marine Energy Centre from 2003-2009 and provided it with commercial support

ITI-Energy


Redfield advised ITI Energy in relation to certain technical and commercial aspects of projects on which it is engaged.


Progressive Energy


Redfield advised Progressive Energy on a carbon capture and storage project in the UK.


Scottish Executive


Redfield advised the Scottish Executive in relation to the terms of reference for the Forum for Renewable Energy Development in Scotland ("FREDS").


Scottish Power


Redfield assisted ScottishPower with a review of commercial opportunities in the renewables sector.


SeaEnergy Renewables


Redfield developed the initial business plan for SeaEnergy Renewables and assisted with its implementation, recruitment and funding leading to securing interests in three large offshore wind projects. It was sold for an enterprise value of GBP50 million in 2011.


Talisman Energy


Redfield assisted Talisman Energy on a number of aspects of the Beatrice windfarm demonstrator project, with specific emphasis on fund raising, commercial and economic issues and business planning.


United Utilities


Redfield Consulting assisted United Utilities Green Energy in developing its appreciation of certain strategic and commercial aspects of the renewables market.


Wood Mackenzie


Redfield contributed the UK Renewables Market Insight module to the Wood Mackenzie multi-client study entitled From Surplus to Shortage: The outlook for British Gas and Power markets.
